Participation in the international scientific conference CM3P – “Computational Methods for Multi-Scale, Multi-Uncertainty and Multi-Physics Problems”

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ project IM4STEM – Intelligent Methods for Structures, Elements and Materials, Prof. Łukasz Sadowski participated in the international scientific conference CM3P – Computational Methods for Multi-Scale, Multi-Uncertainty and Multi-Physics Problems, held in Porto, Portugal, from July 1 to 3, 2025.

The participation in the conference was carried out as part of the project activities aimed at strengthening international cooperation, fostering knowledge exchange, and disseminating scientific research results in the field of intelligent methods in engineering.

During the conference, Prof. Sadowski delivered an oral presentation entitled “Computational Methods in Nondestructive Evaluation at Concrete Floors in Multisite Facilities”, co-authored with Mateusz Moj and Sławomir Czarnecki from Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

The presentation was based on ongoing scientific research and focused on the assessment of the tensile strength of subsurface layers in industrial concrete floors using advanced computational and analytical methods.

An interdisciplinary research approach was presented, integrating non-destructive testing (NDT) methods, such as ultrasonic pulse velocity (UPV) measurements and rebound hammer testing, with artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms.

The presented work directly contributes to the objectives of the IM4STEM project, which focuses on modernizing STEM education through the application of innovative, digital, and interdisciplinary technologies, including artificial intelligence in engineering practice.

The presentation was included in the official conference program and proceedings and was very well received by the international scientific and professional community.

Participation in the CM3P conference represents an important dissemination activity of the IM4STEM project, enabling knowledge exchange, international networking, and the development of new academic and research collaborations, in line with the objectives of the Erasmus+ programme.
